Respect & Responsibility

At Elementary South, we believe that respect and responsibility are the fundamentals of a positive classroom and school environment.  We work to ensure that every student treats others with respect, and so that every student is responsible for their actions. 

Class Constitution Violations:

1st– Verbal Warning

2nd-Phone call home and loss of privilege

3rd– Action Plan and office visit

Action Plans

Students who do not abide by the respect and responsibility rules at Hawthorn will be given an Action Plan.  On this action plan, the student will write what he/she did to receive an action plan and a punishment will be given accordingly.  This sheet will be signed by school personnel and will need to be signed by a parent that evening and sent back to school.
